Kenyer Mendez is a dancer in Venezuela, and the busy streets of capital Caracas are his stage. When the traffic light turns red, he takes to the streets and leaves the people on the road mesmerised with his daredevil “head slides” through the gaps between the stationary vehicles, showing off his breakdance moves.
The 27-year old performs his steps wearing an oiled helmet, according to a report by news agency Reuters.
Videos of Mendez performing on the streets of Caracas are being widely shared. The report said the dancer’s big dream is to make it to the national breakdancing team for the Olympics. He also hopes to break the Guinness World Record for longest ‘head slide’.
Sharing a video on Twitter, a Reuters post said Mendez has been breakdancing for 15 years.

“You need to be in good physical condition to perform each trick,” Mendez told Reuters. “Even for the easiest trick, you need to be in good physical condition. It is why it (break dancing) has to be admired and respected like the other sports.”
His Instagram handle has several videos of him ‘head-sliding’ on the streets and other places. Check out some of the posts:
