First-Ever India-EU Security & Defence Consultations Held In Brussels, Both Sides Agree For Increased Cooperation


New Delhi: The primary-ever India-European Union (EU) Safety and Defence Consultations came about on June 10 in Brussels pursuant to a choice taken on the India-EU Summit in July 2020, the Embassy of India stated in a launch. The consultations have been co-chaired by Ministry of Defence Joint Secretary (IC) Somnath Ghosh and Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) Joint Secretary (Europe West) Sandeep Chakravorty from the Indian aspect and Joanneke Balfoort, Director Safety and Defence Coverage, from the EU aspect.
